Hey there Satan. Have you seen her today? My Baby, she's missin' well she's done run away. Said she's leaving but I begged her to stay, I said stay, I said stay, I said stay. I didn't see her walk out the door, now I lay here baby with my eyes on the floor, left me hurting, just wanting more. I want more, I want more, I want more. Hey there Satan, its such a nice day and hey there Satan there ain't no other way. I'm gonna jump this bridge, I'm gonna do it my way today, my way, my way. Hey there Satan, don't look at me. My body's cold now, I can no longer see. Don't even touch me! Just let me be as i sink into the sea. Let me be, let me be.

Bettin' Man 04:55
Well I won this guitar, I was a bettin' man: in a big town, baby I'm a small town man. Owed a man money, couldn't pay so I ran. Ended up here with just a guitar in hand. Played a show and then we ran some more. Tried for the big's, but you never can know. I was wanted dead not alive, by a filthy man who lived a dirty life. Name was Charles but they called him Chuck. He carried a gun since he was nine. I crossed him over, I sure did try, but old Chuck wouldn't let it die. He had a wife, her name was Bev. Good lookin' women, sweetly dressed, but young Bev, she was depressed. So I took off, with Bev's left hand, just a dirty, old, no good guitar man. Ran for miles and miles across the land. Chorus Yeah I took everything in his life. His money, his guitar, his lady, yeah his wife. But then one day, at a quarter to three in a laundromat in Kentucky, my haunted past caught up with me. Chuck was there, he had a gun and some hired boys, five of them. I saw my life flash before my eyes. Lightning struck, thunder crashed! Guns went off with a mighty blast! I dove from the window, I was only struck once. Chorus Took everything in his life. His money yeah! His guitar, his lady his wife. Bev was there, convertible, drove as fast as she could go. We got out of State, we never looked back. Now the morale of the story is sometimes its best to leave things as is, but if you can't boy you better be quick. If you've got a guitar and you can play it well, just be careful, it'll send you to hell. Don't do the things I've done.

You say go wild, come orangutan me. You pretty baby, well you dirty baby, yeah you raunchy baby. You make me feel like a pervert baby. You may look sweet, but i know you're crazy. You dirty baby, yeah you pretty baby, well you raunchy baby. You're always talking so dirty to me. You say go on pull your shirt off come rape me. You cant rape the willing you dirty baby, yeah you pretty baby.

I see daisies growing from the ground. I, I see em coming. And I see daisies wrappin' round my feet, wrappin' round my feet. I hear bells ringin' at the church upon the hill. (I hear em ringin'). Hear angels singing too. (Angels singin', I hear em singin'). And those daisies start to pull me from my feet, darlin on my knees Theres a hole in front of me, I'm beggin' darlin please. Don't you pull me in. Don't pull me in no Father, Father I have sinned. Father I have sinned.

6 x 8 05:02
Well she left my ass at an old highway station, with a cold cup of coffee and a lot of frustration. I started walking down to the next town. Minutes before this whole situation we were getting it on and my heart was racing. Then she pushed me off. She said "I never wanna see you again." She had a gun, and she pointed at me. She said "Get the hell out before I count to three." Took my shoes, took my new Chevy too. Chorus Well she's a crooked young lady and she's evil and ,mean. Worst damn women that I ever seen, wont be long 'til I get my revenge. When I reached the town my feet were bleeding, marched up the steps of that store I was most needing. Asked "Hey clerk. Got yourself a colt 45?" He looked at me, said "No time for preaching." For in my eyes he saw burning a demon. He sold me the gun and then he closed up shop. Cross to the tavern, ordered a whiskey. I said "Hey there barman, I don't care if you're with me. I'm gonna find that woman, I'm gonna shoot her down." Chorus Well she's a crooked young lady and she's evil and mean. Worst damn woman that you ever seen, won't be long till I get my revenge. Just about then I heard an engine, it sounded a lot like that Chev I was missing. I peered out the window and Christ there she was. Hid in the corner where the shadows were, knelt behind an old wooden chair. I pulled my gun, I said "now barman don't you say a word." In walked that blonde with a cigarette and some other guy that I ain't ever met. I stood up behind them, I said "Fancy seeing you here." Chorus Cuz your a crooked young lady and you're evil and mean, worst damn woman that I ever seen. Now I'ma shoot you and your new man down. Well she went for her gun, but I blasted away. I blew them both back into yesterday. Well the floor was covered in blood, and ale and rye. Oh yeah. And i think of it now, when I'm sleeping and eating, cuz thats all you can do in this cell there's no breathing. There's not even a window, for you to look at the stars. They locked me up for life here in prison, and if they let me out well I can't see no reason, why I'd ever do it again. But they never will and i'm cold and alone and this place is now my own 6 x 8 home. And I'll be here, till I turn into bone.

Well, these tired old shoes, they've seen better days. Then again mama so has my face. This faded old skin, watery eyes, silver, rough chin, well my mouths told many lies. But it hasn't all been bad, hell, it used to be good. Women and liquor mamma and I did more drugs than i should. But it turned out ok. Except, now I'm alone. My cards all on the table, I got no place left to call home. At one time I had me, a rock and roll band. To die or get rich, well that was our one and only, lonely plan. Didn't work out, but hell, we had some fun. Never quite made it but we drank us a lot of rum. So lets see if these fingers remember their old sword. Here's one last song to those who once adored. Yeah i got one last riff, one last dirty chord. To all those baby's that once adored.
